I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2013, where I became a member of the Psi Chi Honors club. I was a research assistant with the Youth with Problematic Sexual Behaviors (YPSB) lab from 2012 to 2016 and was awarded the opportunity to co-author an article depicting prejudice (race, gender, sexual orientation, relationship status) in arrest rates in statutory rape cases with Dr. Mark Chaffin. I also have experience as a job coach for individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse through River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA, and as volunteer case manager with CASA in Houston County, GA. I am currently a graduate student in the University of Oklahoma’s Master of Social Work program and work as a case manager with the Red Rock PACT team. After obtaining my MSW degree, I plan to continue toward a LCSW certification in hopes of becoming a therapist.
